November 2025 Study Permit Updates from the Government of Canada

Provincial Attestation Letters: No Cap on Certain Graduate Students

In November 2025 the federal government announced that beginning January 1, 2026, graduate students planning to attend a public institution will not require a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) to apply for a study permit.
